Why I Built Check me Up: A Local-First Focus & Distraction Daemon

Observability for Your Own Focus

Most time trackers either force you to manually start timers all day or stream your window titles to a remote server.

I built Check me Up to be a quiet, local-first companion: - A small background daemon watches the currently focused window and detects idle time. - Everything is stored locally on your machine. - Whenever you ask for it, the dashboard renders your active session and a Weekly Summary showing whether your week was genuinely productive.
